Hello Scallopers, it’s been a while since our last post, glad too see you guys keep following us and we would like to share what we did at Q3 and the current progress of Scallop project.
We’ve met many people during this quarter, like some core members from other projects, some experienced seed investors, people from capitals or ventures, we had great meetings with them, some of them shared their experience and story in crypto industry and some of them gave us advices about Scallop project, and we believe we will bring some good news to you guys at Q4 2021.
If you are a pro Scalloper, you must find that since we’ve announced our white paper, it’s keep having many modification and new versions, some modifications are about token model, some are about the rules of Scallop, we keep making Scallop a better project.
Unfortunately, we still need to have some adjustment with our roadmap, we want Scallop to be a long term project and have strict risk management, SCA token and main-net version will be late and the dev-net version will also without SCA token too, and although we’ve located the target programs that we are going to invoke, but there are still steps we’ve not done yet, our co-founder and smart-contract dev Larry are handling them. (Btw, we haven’t forget we still owe some SCA reward for Solzn voters who voted for us, we’ve kept the list and it also won’t disappear on blockchain too.)
Donnie is our co-founder and now he is working on full-end development of our DApp. We already connect to SPL wallet and read the data on Solana, but we haven’t started connecting with the core program of Scallop, we will have a video to show the current progress of full-end development.
We are having many pending progress like some we’ve just mention, so we found a strong dev called Bacis to join us, not only to speed up Scallop project but also fight with us at Solana Ignition Hackathon. In the near future, there will be a Medium post for the information and background of Scallop team members.
We believe that doing things correct is more important than speed, since this project was born our goal hasn’t changed, which is to launch an interesting project and run it smoothly and successfully, and having active users community. Thanks for you guys keep following us, you will see Scallop growing bigger.
We’ve joined the Solana Ignition Hackathon and the Asia division of it, of course there will be some prize and rewards for voters who vote for us 🌱, but we haven’t designed the detail of it, here are the links:

We picked DeFi track because we think the proportion of elements of Scallop project is:
DeFi -No Loss Lottery (50%) + On-Chain Collectibles and NFTs (35%) + Gaming (15%)
And also we picked Raydium sponsor prize temporary because we think Scallop will open a no loss lottery pool with staking RAY, and might use their IDO platform, and we might use Raydium to open SCA liquidity pools.
